Comparing to the color on screen it is very close to an accurate depiction. It's soft and heavy/bulky (does add visual weight when wearing it-I don't care). Only caveat for me is that the bottom is not wide enough, nor does it come down long enough to make up a sweater dress like some of the modeling photos show BUT, I'm certain if I really wanted that I could have specified in my customization.
